Apologies if fixtures, but can't find a thread on it. Statement from the Brentford Board, explaining why Warburton is getting the push:

"As part of a remodelling of the club's football management, a head coach will be appointed to work alongside a new sporting director. The club want the new structure to be a long-term way of working which is independent of whoever is in the head coach role."

Sound familiar? Good idea or rubbish? Will they now implode with a bunch of players who the manager - sorry, coach - doesn't want?

Certainly sounds like the corporate bullshit management speak which is rife in Britain today; surprised it didn't add something about "enhancing our valued match-day customers' terrace experience" :bla:
