Surprised this has not been posted yet.

Chelsea's statement

The club said: “Such behaviour is abhorrent and has no place in football or society. We will support any criminal action against those involved, and should evidence point to involvement of Chelsea season ticket holders or members the club will take the strongest possible action against them including banning orders.”

Good statement from the club. Unsurprising behaviour from the knuckle dragging element of their 'support'.

There will of course be some who will just say "typical football supporters" which is nice for us normal ones.

Embarrassing for us all. Not only are they representing Chelsea, they're representing England. Hope they find them and take some action. I'd love to see the guy caught on camera pushing the other guy off the train done for assault. A few weeks in a French prison should be fun for him.

Heavily condemned on the Chelsea forum I'm pleased to say, and some of them appear to be going to some effort to identify the culprits

Lovely to see the Sun on Sunday chasing down this one...

He was suffering from food poisoning and nowhere near the game he says.

We live in a world of youtube and twitter where you can be traced so quickly. We really don't need to bother about the CCTV in place, as our Facebook generation have created their own crowdsourced form of monitoring.

Let's hope they can identify the real people on the train.

Very difficult for the club who have done a lot since the days in the 70s and 80s when they let the NF distribute literature at the club. Even if identified, can the club ban someone who will say that not letting the black man on the tube was due it being full and nothing to do with his skin colour or nationality.
What I don't get is how can racist fans square being a Chelsea fan with following a team with a number of black players in it? England fans can be just as bad though.

Assuming they are getting the Eurostar back to London today, a load of people should stand by the train doors and prevent them from boarding. Give them a taste of their own medicine. When their club captain is John Terry this is hardly a surprise. He has led by example.
