Looked it at first glance, but it's deflected in off the United defender, which has just knocked it lower than its original trajectory.

How thats not considered offside. Keeper was clearly put off as Rooney could have stuck a boot on it and put it in the other corner.

Instead he dodged it but keepers instinct was impacted by Rooneys postioning has to be offside for me.

As they explained not offside because Rooney didnt touch it or attempt to, he let it pass.
