Downloading from Google Play

Have just purchased an American TV series for my Nexus 10 for a few quid from Google Play. I can watch it whilst online, but I really wanted to watch it whilst sat on a plane 30,000 odd feet above the earth. Have I bought the wrong product, or am I missing the download option somewhere?

On my ipad there is a 'play movies' app to play movies bought on google play. On that you tap browse library, shows the films in my library with a download icon in the bottom right. Do you have that app on android, or is it just for ipad access to google?
