Same as every year then?

Next season will be slightly different because finishing bottom of the Prem in 2016/17 brings in a £100M paycheck. Add on the extras and you could be talking about £140M

Well, its more worth it than ever now, especially with the £100M just for finishing last - even clubs coming up from League 1 will probably go for it. Hopefully it results in an exciting Championship next season.

It should also be noted that Football League slots on Sky will probably now be Saturday Evenings and 1PM Sunday, due to Sky getting the Friday night and Saturday Early KO slots.

It's only a few more but it's good to see BT getting an increase in their number of games.

70% increase on previous deal. Jeeeeez!
Just goes to show what a brilliant job Peter Scudamore is doing selling the TV rights of the Premier League. Is the Premier League still the best league in the world? I personally don't think so.

Bournemouth will be quids in they go up this season. Surely Bloom has got to gamble in the summer with some 'big' signings?!

It may result in an exciting season. I also suspect it will result in a lot more moaning as Barber bangs on about FFP whilst the rest of the division put their collective heads down and go for it.

Not sure I like Friday evening kick offs, prefer it all to be at the weekend.

Also £897m for Champions League rights over 3 years now seems like an absolute deal.

Even Barber may turn around and say "F*ck it, we are going to have to go for it now" - the reward is better than the loss if you get there.

It probably now also makes the Championship Play-Off final the most expensive game in football by miles.

Staggering amount of money. Will the premier league share it around (a silly question) to clubs in need and especially to the grass routes. Wonder if ticket prices will continue to rise!?!

Will the premier league share it around (a silly question) to clubs in need - Of course not.

especially to the grass routes - The Premier League probably think Grassroots is something to do with the turf on Premier League pitches.

Wonder if ticket prices will continue to rise - Absolutely.
