Albion boss Chris Hughton has branded the shortest month on the calendar a big one for his Championship strugglers.
Nottingham Forest's visit today launches a flurry of six matches in 22 days for the Seagulls.
They also entertain Hughton's old club Birmingham and fellows toilers Leeds after back-to-back trips next week to Cardiff and Sheffield Wednesday.
A key month concludes with another journey, to Bolton Wanderers.
Hughton, with new signings Beram Kayal and Leon Best on board and Dale Stephens and Kazenga LuaLua returning from injuries, told The Argus: "It's a big month, an important month.
"The only thing is it's the same for everybody. It's not as if we have got to play a lot of games and the others don't.
"All the same apprehensions or concerns I might have every single manager in this division will have.
"It's not only next week. Apart from the following week, when there is no midweek game, we then go into two more weeks of midweek games, so it's a tough few weeks coming up.
"It's important for us that Dale has gone through what he has gone through and Kazenga. At the moment we've got some good competition for places but we'll need all of them over this next month. It will be a very tough and testing time."
