Do not know about what sentence he will get, it will not be long enough. These date back, so will the tariff be different. I seem to remember Stuart Hall not getting a long enough sentence a few years back.

If we adhere to the old tariffs on sentencing would - and of course I know the answer to this really - a 75 year old man who was found guilty of murder now for a crime committed in 1963 face the punishment from those days ?

They're going to throw the book at him. Could well be looking at life. Nasty piece of work

He's 70 years old. Realistically, that won't need to be a long sentence, in all probability...

Thanks. I'm 69 this year! :)

...but you're not banged up in Savile Row of a category A prison, refusing to shower & nervously checking your microwaved meal for glass & saliva, three times a day (I trust :D ).
