Has anyone watched Adam Curtis's documentary on BBCi Player?

Its over two hours long and has got his usual 'I'm right about everything' commentary which some may find trying, but its visually stunning and provides a very interesting view on the origins and complications of the politics of Afghanistan and the Middle East.

so not about a surplus of English ales that are being stored by the EU then. I'm bitterly disappointed having opened the thread.

Will watch it soon, as I love his work. As you point out, there is a disconnect between the multiple bewildering images and the calm, soothing 'authority' of his message. I'm just of the view that he is right about most things, and he provides a welcome alternative voice from the usual presentation of things.
