Salt Water Crocodile

Group stage: 2nd Group A(31 votes)

One of the elite competitors in the WHC, the crocodile has never done worse than the semi finals, being a three time finalist(although he's never won it). Cruised through group A although somewhat surprisingly was beaten to the top spot by a couple of votes by the wolverine. An apex predator the croc can take out anything that enters its territory on land or in water. It possesses the most powerful bite force per square inch of any animal on the planet. It is even more powerful than the estimated bite force of the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Despite its size it displays excellent speed and agility, particularly on the waters edge where it can use its legs and pail for propulsion. Their skin is thick, almost like armour plating, they can survive months without food and can survive comfortably with a missing tail or limb. Chuck in its own patented killing move-the death roll and the fact that its survived since the time of the dinosaurs and you have one of the very hardest creatures in the competition. Does it have enough to get to the quarter finals? NSC, only you can decide.

Blue Ringed Octopus

Group stage: Joint 3rd group B

The Blue Ringed Octopus squeezed through Group B 11.04% of the vote. It is one of the marine worlds most dangerous animals. Not massively aggressive it will however go for you if threatened or disturbed using its tentacles to grab hold of you, pulling you in towards its sharp bony mouth where it will bite you, releasing powerful venom that paralyses the muscles needed for breathing and movement. Is it enough to see off its illustrious opponent? Only time will tell.
