Albion boss Chris Hughton believes his team should have been awarded a late penalty in their 3-2 exit from the FA Cup against Arsenal at the Amex.
The Seagulls were denied a lucrative replay at the Emirates by referee Michael Oliver when substitute Adrian Colunga's cross struck the outstretched left arm of Calum Chambers from close range with four minutes left.
Hughton, asked if he thought it was a penalty, said: "I did. My first impressions were no, that he (Chambers) was very close to it, but having see it again he does have an outstretched arm and generally these days, we certainly see time and again in an incident like that a penalty being given."
Hughton blamed Albion's defeat on a tardy start as they conceded goals by Theo Walcott and Mezut Ozil inside the opening 25 minutes.
He said: "We were very good and very spirited in the second half, but we started the game too slow and you can't do that against the quality Arsenal have."
