The Oystons are a really odious family, makes me appreciate Tony even more.
We should do all we can to support Blackpool fans to rid their club of them.

One of only a few teams in the FL to trade in the black suggests they are doing something right, whether the fans like it is a different matter.

I would imagine the fans are slightly more concerned at the moment with their appalling on-field performances - financial stability is all well and good, but if that doesn't translate into anything on the pitch then it's really not worth all the bother.

Unbelievable. Amateurs. Not one mention of pies, people leaving early, price of tickets etc. they have a long way to go.

Really is a good chance to get another 3 points - especially with Wigan losing today...

Their owner pocketed the parachute payments - how is that a sign of doing something right?

Because they invest practically nothing in the team/club - it is simply their "cash cow". Its one of many things wrong with football, people who dont care getting involved to make money and not caring about who they screw over.

If you honestly think the way they are running that club is right, then you are completely deluded.

It's relatively easy to run a football club in the black if you slash the budget, tie the manager's hands and refuse to invest in the organisation. Of course in four or five years you may completely destroy a club that truly belongs to its town and its supporters - but hey, at least you'll have made a profit and not got the club into debt. So that's all right then. Why not go on the Blackpool board and explain all this to them? They'll probably be really grateful.
