Brighton & Hove Albion have agreed the signing of Israeli international midfielder Beram Kayal from Celtic for an undisclosed fee - subject to a successful work permit application. The 26-year-old passed a medical at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre earlier today and will sign a two-and-half year deal, until the summer of 2017 - subject to a successful work permit hearing next Wednesday.
Albion boss Chris Hughton said, "We're delighted to have agreed a deal for someone of Kayal's stature, he's got plenty of experience with Celtic, and is an international.

"He is a good age and is a player who is really dynamic in midfield. He can play a few roles, including the holding role, but he also has the energy to break forward.
"He can play in a two or three-man midfield, so that gives us flexibility there. He has been involved in some big games at Celtic and he will really give us another real good option in midfield."
