Half Crown (?), more than 2 bob.

Only caught the end of their set and thought they were pretty good.
hardly noticed any other groups before, except the Sally Army at Xmas and I moved swiftly on!

Arrived just before 7 and then they all turned up and kept saying we will be ready in 2 mins but got fed up waiting so went into the ground. Not an expert but in the pub most musicians sets were between 45 mins and 1 hour, surely they should be ready to start by 7.00 that is still only about 30-45 mins.

There was one missing to start with, he was stuck in traffic apparently. When I saw them there were just three playing instrumental riffs to pass the time, so I left them to it. More two bob than half-a-crown.
