Well considering a deal has already been agreed and all but signed, we can't really do that. We won't ever really know what we'll receive as it'll be undisclosed like all of our deals are, but I suspect we'll receive £500k which we paid for him back in the summer.

While a bhafc player we are still in a position to demand a higher fee whether verbally agreed or not plus No signature. Let's face it the valuation is now null and void.

If it is not signed then surely we can do what we like?

We simply must keep COG. Who cares what Sheff Utd say.

Is he playing so well BECAUSE he knows he's going back up North, or, is he playing so well because he has a defined role to play, a manger that believes in him and a group of supporters who are hailing this weeks Messiah! What if he did want to go back up north, the club pull the deal, wonder how he would perform / sulk then?

When is supporting this team ever simple?

I think par on the 500k outlay would be about right.

I posted this on another thread a short time ago !

As has been pointed out before, he scored, what was it, 19 goals last term for a doomed Barnsley which proves he was seriously undervalued by a large faction of NSC.

Sadly, as he was also so undervalued by SH, he has apparently moved his partner and kids back up north.

S---, you just can't believe these things !

I regret him going, if he does. But some things are bigger than football. If his family can't settle here for whatever reason then I wish him all the best. Its a shame Sami could not get the best out of him but Hughton looks as though he might; but that's the way it goes. We have to move on.
