Stockdale - 8
Calderon- 6
Dunk - 4
Greer - 5
Bennett - 6
Holla - 5
Ince - 7
March - 3
JFC - 5
Baldrick - 4
CMS - 5

Subs
Halford - 5
Colunga - 5
O'Grady - 6

Thought March had a shocker, lightweight and knocked off the ball too easily and some poor passing and decision making. Baldock was playing out of position and offered very little. CMS ran his socks off and had a glorious chance to equalise but shot tamely straight at the keeper. Stockdale was my MOM, very solid and had no chance with the deflected goal.

Edit, Dunk downgraded for petulant red card.

Stockdale -8- MOTM - made some really good saves unlucky with their goal
Calde -6- typical calde performance , looked most likely to score
Greer -5- poor and off the pace
Dunk -4- deserved his sending off. First booking cynical and lucky wasn't a straight red for his sending off
Bennett - 6- didn't get as forward as much as normal
Ince -7- first name on team sheet for me
Holla -5- had a great chance but took to long
JFC -6- played some nice balls today
Solly -7- looked like he had most of creativity
Baldock -4- didnt do much at all
CMS -5- all huff no puff

Colunga -5- looked better than Baldock
Halford -5- played almost everywhere
O'Grady - 6- gives us something different and a big prescence

Stockdale - 8 Getting better by the game
Calderon - 6 Caught a couple of times defensively but our best chance to get a goal
Dunk - 5 Good until the silly sending off (although their player went down laughably easily)
Greer - 4 Distribution was dreadful, absolutely dreadful
Bennett - 6 Decent
Holla - 5 Not his best game, seemed a bit bypassed
Ince - 7 Clearly our best outfield player today
March - 3 Really poor. Slow, ponderous and hesitant.
JFC - 6 Decent
Baldock - 4 Not a winger, so hard to be too critical
CMS - 4 Only one real chance which he should have taken. Low on confidence

Subs:
Halford - 6 Decent
Colunga - 6 Decent, but not a winger. Looked more dangerous when coming inside
O'Grady - 6 Held the ball up and flicked on well. Needs to start

Overall, there were improvements but same players so same failings. We were better for longer today but still a dire need for new players.

I'm not one for doing a rating, but I'll give a few thoughts

Stockdale - solid again, couldn't do anything about the goal due to the wicked deflection
Calderon - Got forward a lot again, could perhaps have done better when he shot from inside the box
Greer - Caught out on a couple of occasions, seemed to struggle today. Balls behind the fullback that force Greer wide are the way to hurt this team.
Dunk - Was doing fine until the soft but stupid second yellow
Bennett - Caught in possession a couple of times but provided an outlet. Quick feet meant he got away from trouble under pressure more than once
Ince - Looked strong going in both directions and rightly giving MoM
Holla - Unusually sloppy in a quiet performance from the experienced midfielder. Unlucky not to score
Forster-Caskey - Got around the pitch a lot but without much impact. I'd rather see March as the central attacker once LuaLua is back. Went off injured early in second half.
March - Looked lively and had a few shots from distance. Good defensive covering. Challenging for MoM before making way for Halford after sending off.
Baldock - Minimal impact on game but he's being played out of position.
CMS - A lot of running but few chances. Same old story. Had best chance on volley early in second half but shot straight at keeper.

Subs:
Colunga - Looked more effective on left than Baldock although final ball slightly lacking
Halford - Solid at the back, battering ram up front. Everytime he dribbles past an attacker it is a heart-in-mouth moment
O'Grady - Provided a focal point for the team when a man down but not much joy in terms of receiving the ball to keep it or in terms of getting chances to shoot

I'd go along with that except -1 for Calde .... it was his gaff that set up their goal

Stockdale - 7 Flapped at a couple but generally pretty secure
Calderon- 6 Got forward as usual and might have scored
Dunk - 5 (first booking took one for the team after March and JFC cocked up a corner. second one soft)
Greer - 4 Poor ball to caderon that led to their goal. Halford should have started with Dunk
Bennett - 6 steady game
Holla - 6 Ok did the basics
Ince - 8 First time the sponsers have got the MOM right
March - 5 Too slow to move the ball on in good positions
JFC - 5 Could have shot on a couple of occasions. Can see why he is Marmite player with fans
Baldock - 2 (brings nothing to the team even if played out of position)
CMS - 5 Thought he was ok today but we need a better player in the striking role and at present we have no-one to replace him

Subs
Halford - 6 Should be starting better than most in any position
Colunga - 7 Did more in 20 minutes than Baldock did in 70
O'Grady - 5 Tries hard but not the answer

In summary ship out all our strikers and get 3 more in

[Stockdale - 8 did nothing wrong
Calderon- 7 at fault for goal but other than that did ok
Dunk - 6 silly foul
Greer - 7 steady
Bennett - 7.5 improving in my eyes
Holla - 7 steady
Ince - 8 did well even a touch of flair
March - 6 comes and goes
JFC - 6 there is a great little player in there just wish he could be rested
Baldock - 6 lacks confidence
CMS - 8 run his socks off would make a great spaniel

Subs
Halford - 6 I hope we sign him
Colunga - 6 most creative player today
O'Grady - 6 dose make a differance with his strength

Stockdale - still very very worried about him.
Solly (give me another 10 secs to think about it, oh the chance seems to have gone now) March - still so frustrating
Danny (seriously I was meant to pass to the team in blue?) Holla - shocker
But Ince was excellent as were the back four generally (except Dunk was silly to give a daft ref a decision to make).
COG looked good again.

Stockdale - 8 - excellent
Calde- 6
Dunk - 0 - saw the sending off in detail on the concourse after the game. Unforgiveable & could've cost us the game
Greer - 6
Bennett - 6
Holla - 6
Ince - 5.5 - good until he has time to think - repeatedly
March - 5
JFC - 6
Baldock - 4
CMS - 5.5 - was the poster earlier who said he'd "given up" aware that he had what looked like a serious injury in the last 15 minutes or so & could barely walk - hope he hasn't made it much worse

Subs
Halford - 5
Colunga - 5
O'Grady - 5

Ince and Stocky should share the MOTM. CMS and Baldock were poor. Greer and Calde looked stretched and uncomposed. JFC and Holla - not good enough. March wasn't as poor as some seem to suggest and the rest - meh. There is no mystery as to why we are struggling this season, we simply don't have the same calibre of players that we've had in the last two seasons.

No it was not it was Greer whose pass put far too much pressure on him.

Nail on head there, overall the quality of this current team is where our league position dictates.

Am I the only one to think Dunk shouldn't have got a second yellow then. It was a push but I have seen far far far worse and their player took two or three steps back before collapsing. A cheat and a crap ref=10 men.

Their keeper did something very similar when we played them earlier in the season cheated to get one of our players a yellow card.

Stockdale. Solid. No chance with goal - took vicious deflection 7
Calderon. All heart - but needs legs too 6
Greer. Not his best 5
Dunk. Seemed out of sorts. Stupid second yellow, took first for the team 4
Bennett. Can get pulled out of position but pretty reliable and good outlet 6
Holla. Lost confidence shooting but he and Ince together are good 6
Ince. immense performance 8
JFC. Not sure I noticed him 5
March. As JFC 5
Baldpck. Out of position so harsh to rate him. Did what he was asked to do 5
CMS. runs like a little train.Would be superb if he could trap a ball or shoot at the goal not the keeper 4

Officials .stunningly bad.

In all I'm optimistic. CH knows what has to be done and I think he can do it. Seems to be fight in the team now. None of the ineptitude and sheer despair of the Sami days.

Stockdale 7 gets better each game
Calderon 4 poor and to blame for their goal Bruno must be back Wed.
Greer 4 not one of his better games his passing was poor.
Dunk 5 took a yellow for the team but stupid 2nd yellow
Bennett 5 Not one of his best days
Holla 6 consistent
Ince 8 MOM by far our best player lost the ball a lot but won it back most times.
JFC 5 Not the midfield general we need.
March 3 too slow in thought and deed.
Baldock 4 looked lost on the wing, waste of a player
CMS 6 plenty of running but didnt look like he would score.
subs:
Colunga 6 tried hard but not a winger.
Halford 6 Did what was expected of him after Dunks red card.
O Grady 5 did ok but not a big enough impact but received poor service.

All round performance: same orchestra different conductor.

Are you ok BG you've finally realised Ince is one of if not the best of our current players.
