Brighton & Hove Albion defender Inigo Calderon says it is vital that the side continue their wining momentum going into today’s match against Brentford at the Amex.
*

The Seagulls have won their last three games in all competitions including a win over today’s opponents in the FA Cup.
*
Calderon said, “When you are in a good moment you have to take advantage of it because everything seems easier, so we have to make it last as long as possible.
*
“We cannot relax as we are still near the bottom, but we have been better. The silly mistakes were costing us too much before but now we are winning and that’s the most important thing.
*
“Sometimes when you get a result it doesn’t matter how you play because it gets your confidence up.
*
“We need to improve at the Amex and get as many points as we can quickly because the mental part is really important.”

The Spaniard went onto explain the impact which new manager Chris Hughton has had since his arrival at Albion.
*
“He is trying to build a team from the back and that’s important when you are in a bad situation.
*
“It was coming under Sami, then Nathan kept us improving and now under the new gaffer we’re improving even more.
*
“He is always involved in the training and I love that. When you are a player, you are going to listen more to a manager than a coach so it’s better when the manager talks to you.
*
“If we can get some points we can start to play more attractive football, but at the moment we’re trying to get the results and more forward.
*
“Now we have started to win games we have improved a bit and now we need to keep improving.” [h=3]ALBION V brentford
