Britain's oldest person and last Victorian dies aged 114.
Just provokes a few thoughts especially the Life in 1900 and Ethel’s life through history near the end of the piece.
And this.....The average man drank 73 gallons of beer and 2.4 gallons of spirits a year. At 2d a pint, beer could cost about the same as milk.

Soulman - obviously one of your earlier dates - the sad thing is , I met her in the Tudor in the 70's and she was hot , well for for her age, but you would have ad the HOTS for her......
