Albion are taking another look at French trialist Jeremy Balmy.
The 20-year-old has been earmarked for a run-out in a development friendly against Queens Park Rangers next week.
Balmy, released by Notts County, played in Monday's 0-0 draw for the under-21s at Luton.
The former Le Havre prospect almost signed a development contract with Albion two-and-a-half-years ago after featuring in a friendly at Hastings.
