Albion's Women will playing West Ham at Culver Road, Lancing on Sunday 25th Jan 2 PM kick off.

The girls are doing fantastically well this season and scoring goals for fun. They beat West Ham in the cup about a week ago 6-2.

They are currently sitting top of the pile in the Women's Premier League (Southern Division)

PTS

1 Brighton & Hove Albion WFC 12 9 1 2 22 28

6 Tottenham Hotspur LFC 12 7 1 4 5 22
7 Lewes LFC 12 4 1 7 1 13

11 Copsewood (Coventry) LFC 10 1 1 8 -21 4
12 Keynsham Town LFC 13 0 1 12 -55 1

Wouldn't it be great, even for just one game we could get a few thousand to go along to this game and give them a true Albion support experience.

Its free for season tickets holders, free for children U16 and £3 for anyone else. Its seems that for the majority of us, all it would cost is our time.

If you can put any prejudices aside about women's football, it could be a great afternoon.

We could have that small club game feeling again, still wear are colours and chant the same songs. :ascarf:

You are quite, I am an idiot. If the insert of a face plant smiley was working I would give myself one.

I still think it would be good if a load of us were to turn up at one of their games. They seem to be doing us proud and it would be great even if it just once, if we could give them a rocking atmosphere to play in front of.

They think this game will not go ahead due to the weather, otherwise I would have suggested that first. Though that doesn't get me of the hook for being a prat in the OP.

I've been to a couple of their games with my daughter - they're good games to watch. She now plays rugby on Sundays so we don't have a chance to get to the games but they're certainly worth watching

Ah, I'd missed that info - sorry!

Would definitely be good to get a few more along to watch :) Wish all their matches were still at the Withdean as its closer though... ;)

Thank you. That was my point, apart from when it clashes with the first team games, it would be great if we could get a load go and watch and just give them some support. They have none of traits that some despise about modern football, they are certainly not over paid, they play for the joy of it. They are representing the Albion and are doing a bloody good job of it by all accounts.
