It was in the news yesterday that they are being massively oversubscribed - shows how much spare cash the over 65's have, be very different in a few year's time when only about 1% has a liveable pension

Piss ups and brewery's spring to mind. The gov has known all along that they were whipping it up to have massive instant demand. NS&I phone number engaged 24/7 and the web site crashing out halfway through the process.

You'd be better off investing in property, unless of course you think that prices are about to crash..........
