A reasonably comfortable 3-0 win for the Hillians with first half goals from Pat Harding and Sam Fisk, and Darren Budd made the points safe in the second half. Dreadful conditions (swirling wind and poor pitch) were a leveller and resulted in a fairly poor spectacle in front of 542, which was decent.
Merstham's game at Redhill was postponed so we're up to 2nd, 3 points behind Faversham, who scored twice in the 90th minute to win 3-1 at Herne Bay, with just the 5 games in hand! Hastings away on Saturday followed by a tricky looking home league match v Folkestone on Weds before the chance to exact revenge at home to Dartford in the Trophy next Saturday. COYH.
