Miscellaneous likes...dislikes: window shopping/lazy people. Does this mean he likes window shopping and dislikes lazy people? Or dislikes both? We need to know if he likes window shopping, people.

I think you've overlooked the most significant part of that reference: "If not a player, what job would you like to do?". Well he's not a player any more, and he'd clearly rather be a ****ing lift engineer than be manager of our beloved club! Hughton OUT!

Hope his ability to spot up and coming talent has improved, from the what must have been very talented Tottenham squad he has picked out Garry Brooke as being the most promising player. He morphed into a journey man lower league and non league player very quickly

Most Promising Team mate - Garry Brooks.

Clearly Chris can spot a player, because Garry's career went stratospheric soon after this.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I read somewhere his imaginary friend as a child was an agoraphobic turtle named Dennis. Dennis had a fundamental dislike for the human race, he told Chris, but for all the ponies and hawklets and kittenfish he looked to float toward to befriend through youth, none of them really "got" him. They became ever so close, to the point where Chris for a spell wouldn't answer any questions unless Dennis okayed them. Chris' parents had to have him hypnotised, but the tragedy of the story lies really in that the session with the watch-pendulising brain-changer affected Dennis more than it did Chris. So, for a week or so, Dennis could no longer see or hear or feel Chris. Chris saw Dennis mourning their separation for a day or two, paddling hopefully around the mystic juices that flowed through the Hughton family home, and then flick through a sort of haunting Yellow Pages to find the next human child or badgerling to associate with. Chris became a Socialist shortly after.
