Good player and a decent move for him for the remainder of this season at least. Here's hoping there's a decent transfer fee and big big wages

And they said his name was appropriate for us. You should all get his name on your shirts and then visit some of the local businesses who got 1p in the pound they were owed.

Never expected to hold on to him after this month. He's too good for the bottom end of the Championship but probably not good enough for a Premier League team outside the relegation scrappers.

I sincerely hope Bent signs a 4 year contract on 40 big ones a week with no relegation wage reduction clause in the contract :O

Villa fans can't wait to see the back of him.

Not convinced he's good enough for the top flight anymore, good Championship striker though.

Probably planning for next season

Not bothered now that COG is firing on all cylinders :D.

The Sheffield Star was reporting this morning that prior to his recall that negotiations between the two clubs were very near to an agreement on his future. The loan was going to be extended until the end of the season and then he would signed on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee. Sheffield United may now have to change tack and go all in with a cash bid to sign him when the transfer window opens.

Why do we need him when we've got Johnson and Doyle ?
