Whether this has anything to do with the incident near York just before Christmas i simply have no idea,however failure to provide a sample which i assume is either blood or urine (?) is he seriously facing a jail term ? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-30630041

Drink driving isn't sad it's just stupid,especially for a guy who claimed to be tee total.

He was a pedestrian at the time (I heard) so you could be right.

Failed to give a sample on the 20th ,his collision on 22nd.

Thanks I misread it standing in the queue at WH Smith paper reading library in HH. More people read them than buy them there ahd co-op.

Some compassion perhaps for a thoroughly decent guy who has battled depression and dependency? The suggestion is that there may have been a suicidal component to this (accident) incident so please think on that before you sound off.

There are few people in football I would rather break bread with than CC, I wish him a full recovery and his wife and children some relief.
