Papers released show that Thatcher had a confidential meeting with the Liverpool chairman to discuss hooliganism.

The records show that Mr Smith called for “decisive action” against four “problem clubs” which he claimed had a strong National Front presence: Chelsea, Millwall, West Ham and Leeds United.

I know those four clubs had a reputation but so did a lot of others. Its a bit rich coming from the Chairman of a club that were hardly paragons of virtue themselves in the 1980's.

Man City, Man Utd, Everton, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal were all as bad as the other 4 clubs originally mentioned during that era.
