Update it's gone over Burgess Hill Lindfield Uckfield twice and it's lower. We think its outgoing flight wheel not retracted just gone over Haywards Heath. More information on HH Gossip. My thoughts are with the Passengers and Crew.

Im guessing if it cant manually drop and lock the gear it might divert to an airport which is not so busy ( but of course would need full emergeny cover)
SHould drop and lock manually very rarely is it a total failure... ( Aicraft Engineer 30 years) he was out bound to vegas so would still have plenty of fuel even after dumping ..
