Jake Forster-Caskey has applauded Greg Halford's long throw for Albion

Jake Forster-Caskey has hailed Greg Halford's long throw weapon for Albion.
Forster-Caskey tucked away his first Championship goal of the season in the 2-2 comeback draw against Reading at The Amex on Boxing Day.
The England under-21 midfielder's tap in came from a long throw delivered by on-loan Nottingham Forest utility player Halford, an out-of-character tactic worked on by the Seagulls under caretaker Nathan Jones.
Forster-Caskey told The Argus: "Obviously, Brighton are known for getting the ball down and passing. But we worked on it in training. trying to put teams under pressure and different ways of doing that.
"We did the long throw and luckily it came off for me.
"I think you need a plan B and plan C, I don't think you can just play one way. I think if you are just one-minded then you are going to lose games in this league.
"It's a very tough league. Sometimes you've just got to fight for the points."
* What do you think? Is Halford's long throw a useful weapon or a sign that Albion's style has regressed?
