Simon Ireland is set to become the latest departure from Albion.
The under-21s development coach will shortly leave to take up a similar post with Premier League Queens Park Rangers.
Ireland took over from Luke Williams in August 2013 after coaching at Blackburn Rovers.
He has faced a difficult task this season following the under-21s promotion to the Premier League as a result of category one status being achieved at the Lancing training complex.
Ireland has managed to keep the side competitive, in spite of suffering like departed first team manager Sami Hyypia from the player recruitment shortcomings which cost head of football operations David Burke his job earlier today.
Ireland, highly regarded for his coaching skills, was recently linked with the manager's job at Mansfield, one of the clubs he served during his playing career. He also had spells with Blackburn, Huddersfield, Doncaster and Wrexham.
His forthcoming exit coincides with under-18s coach Simon Rusk being added to the support staff of caretaker first team manager Nathan Jones for the Boxing Day visit by Reading.
