Uwe Rosler

Uwe Rosler has hailed the Albion managerial vacancy as "very attractive" - but The Argus understands the former Wigan boss is an outside contender.
Rosler, axed by the Seagulls' fellow Championship strugglers Wigan in November, told Talksport: “I think the Brighton job is a very attractive job and obviously it’s an available job and managers out of work at the moment, like I am, will be linked to it.
"It’s a natural procedure in this business and nobody can stop that. For me, that is all I can say at the moment.”
Rosler guided Brentford to ninth and the play-offs in League One in his first post in England before steering Wigan to the semi-finals of the FA Cup and Championship play-offs last season.
The 46-year-old German's CV has been blemished by Wigan's sharp decline this season.

The trouble with taking on a manager with a poor very recent track record (Hyypia 1 win in 16 with the German club) UR bad half season with Wigan... is that their current memories are all a bit negative. I think regardless of how positive you are, if you come in on the back of a run of 'bad' results, it must be the devil's own job of not thinking...'oh no, it's happening again' Let's have a nice bright, sparkling chap with a winning latest pedigree.
