A typical day in the life of an Albion fan

With my eldest daughter having just turned 7 and a member of the Junior Seagulls, dropped in at the ground to pick up her free shirt for that birthday. A great gesture from the club for the future fans.

Then spent a fine day with the kids' granny, where some nice new pictures are up on the fridge of our 'three generations' day at the Amex a while back.

So didn't hear until quite late that a dignified Hyypia had done what the board abjectly failed to do themselves and relieved himself of his own responsibilities after one win in 18.

Ironically, along with the likely player fire-sale and possible staff redundancies if we go down, you fear gestures such as the above might also come under big financial pressure.

Big thanks to the club anyway for the shirt, she's already hooked even if it's quite hard for your average infants' school kid to keep up with the managerial revolving door.
