me and my mate went to have a look at the site, and got very exited.
pity he did not live long enough to see the Amex ............you would never have wiped the smile off his face.

It did in my workplace. But only for a little while. A cursory glance at the scraps of paper submitted by the Club was all that was necessary to persuade the Planning Authority (for that is where I was working) that this didn't amount to a proper planning application at all.

A simple response was all that was required. Send us the rest of the application and we'll consider it. They never did.

Hiney it was the last time we had a conversation with Bellotti that didn't descend into a slanging match or worse.

Pete Kennard and I were sat in the Exec Club bar at the Goldstone and he came in, sat at our table and said Bill and Greg had got some land nearby off Cooks the builders in Shoreham and were going to build a new stadium, which apparently was going to stop all the protests overnight.

In some ways happy days because as bad as it was back then there was none of this infighting we seem to have on here at the moment.
