The players have been a massive let down - far too many not good enough imo, and hapless Sami has just compounded it with inept tactics

"Some" players have been a let down but playing for an inept, clueless manager who clearly has no motivational skills could make any player look and feel bad!

Not very clear what Greer means by this, other than 'I feel like beating myself up over our plight.' Not very constructive at all.
