All of their posts that are written off as BS could just be that although factually correct - signing still likely, talks with managers etc - just don't happen in the end for one reason or another, failure to agree terms etc but this has more than a fair chance of being correct because it's quite a non binary scenario.
IF talks have been ongoing today then its most likely been as result of wranglings over pay offs etc rather than a yes/no decision.
