Another of the amazing cast sadly passed away this afternoon. Angus Lennie, James Garner, Richard Attenborough and now Tom all gone this year.
Very Sad. Nice chap. Always out and about in my local area - his height, looks and striking appearance meant you always noticed him. Wife saw him this week though we all knew he was very ill. He liked a drink, boy could he drink! Had a couple of bar chats in my time as he was a regular at the same local and one time he was so merry he sat chatting to my cocker spaniel for five minutes quite happily having a 'conversation' much to our amusement.
A lovely guy by all accounts. DFS will need a new voice for their ads. If you don't remember the face, you'd know the voice for sure. He was 'Danny's mate' (Charles Bronson) in the Escape Tunnel, so had a fair few lines in the film. hope it's on this Xmas in all their honour.
