Electric Keyboard Advice Needed

To give you all something to think about other than the football.

I'm looking to get my kids an electric keyboard for Christmas and was wondering whether the great and good of NSC might be able to give me some advice.

My son already has grade 2 drums, so is quite musical already, and my daughter is also interested.

So. Is anyone knowledgeable in this area able to suggest a make / model that would fit the bill?

An option that might be worth considering is getting a slave MIDI keyboard that you can attach to a PC or whatever and then using software to provide whatever sounds etc you wish via the PC, just might make it more tailorable (if that's a word).

Falmer, soon...
Yamaha do some great, inexpensive keyboards. Worth looking for one of their educational mode ones, my nephew loves his and is getting very good already, he's 5!
