We are responsible for making the atmosphere good"
Sami Hyypia

Brighton & Hove Albion manager Sami Hyypia says it's up to him and his team to lift the atmosphere ahead of tomorrow’s game with Millwall at the Amex. The Finn believes it is important for the fans to get behind the team but says the players must give them reasons to raise their voices.“We are responsible for making the atmosphere good. If we play well and create chances, the atmosphere will be good and people will get behind us.
“Football is a 90 minute game and it doesn’t really change much if the other team score. We don’t have to get nervous about that.
“Of course we go into the game to keep a clean sheet and score goals and if we defend and attack well then we’ll definitely get the people behind us and that’s very important.
“In the times when it is not going our way, we need the fans more than any other time.”

Hyypia went onto explain how his players must go onto the field and give everything they can to win the game.“We need to be consistent for 90 minutes, defensively and offensively and everyone has to do absolutely everything they can to help the team win.
*“That’s what I expect in every game and that doesn’t change.
“Millwall are a team that has the same character as the manager and he gives absolutely everything he can.
“They will come here to fight and try to get something from the game and we need to be prepared and win the fight first then our quality will win us the game.”
