Evening games by train

scooter1

How soon is now?
I usually go to evening games on two wheels, but am taking a mate to the Millwall game and we have to go by train from Portslade.
Any suggestions on how long it should take, in order that we can get to the ground and grab pie/pint on the concourse without being rushed, or even worse, late?
Ta!

I too usually go to evening games by motorcycle, but from Shoreham. Occasionally though I've done it by train. I would suggest being at Brighton Station by 7pm at the very latest. This would mean me getting the 18.32 from Shoreham which I would guess arrives at Portslade in the region of 18.40.

Edit: Thinking about it you might want to catch the 18.10 from Portslade as you will have to re-queue at Brighton and then queue for your refreshments at the stadium. I think the 18.10 is probably the latest you should leave for a comfortable journey which allows for delays.
