Albion boss Sami Hyypia has vowed to fight on after today's comprehensive 3-0 defeat at Championship leaders Derby County.
Three goals conceded in the opening 20 minutes wrecked any chance of the Seagulls pulling off a surprise.
They remain in the relegation zone, two points adrift of safety, after one win in 16 league games, but Hyypia is determined to battle through the crisis.
The Finn said: "If I didn't think I could turn the season around I would walk away. I'm still here and I intend to be in training on Monday and then we continue."
Hyypia, asked if the decision could be taken out of his hands, said: "I can't control that, so then they (the club) will tell me if I don't have to go in on Monday. I can only control what I do.
"I have no fear and I think that's quite normal in football. I know our series (of results) is not nice to see but that's football, that's this business."
