Waltz is amazing. An actor completely off my radar until he emerged as the Jew hunter in Inglorious Basterds, and then utterly stole the show in Django.
I am a massive Tarantino fan though. Hope Mendes and the Spectre script gives him something to work with.

That opening 15 minutes in Inglorious is just riveting Easy.

One of the greatest opening scenes to a film of all time. The rest of that movie actually struggles to live up to it if I'm honest, but that scene with the farmer is something else.

It is quite widely believe in certain circles that christoph waltz is playing blofeld, but like with cumberbatch as Khan, the filmmakers are trying to convince us he's not by announcing his character under another name.
This film is something I NEED a countdown calendar for.

I thought they were heading towards a SPECTRE type operation through Casino and Quantum, then they forgot it.
On second watching after the hype had died down although QoS was still shitehouse, it wasn't as bad as the media storm that accompanied it's release.
Such a massive shame, as those 3 films Casino, Quantum and Skyfall could have been EPIC.
