Fans who shout abuse at players/managers and then go running to cry and complain when they get abused back are the lowest form of cowards.

Agreed. If you give abuse you should expect to get some back.

You should actually see it as a little victory, because you know you've got inside the head of the person you're trying to get at.

As long as the retaliation isn't physical, I see nothing wrong with a player or manager responding to abuse.
