With all that's going on with the Albion at the moment.
I was just enquiring if anybody knows when, or if Poyet is still going to take legal action against Brighton for his acrimonious departing

Yeah he sued us and won.

We were ordered to pay compensation totalling 1x Will Buckley and 1x Liam Bridcutt.

IIRC it was settled out of court, but had it gone to court, BHA were VERY confident of winning the case. But it was nothing to do with the poopoo.

The club and Poyet came to "a mutual understanding" which more than likely means a level of compensation was paid to Poyet in exchange for him dropping the case and no doubt an agreement by both sides for non disclosure of the exact pay-off and the finer details regarding his gross misconduct.

Although The Argus did report that no financial payment was included in the deal.

As you allude to with your second link, there was no compensation for Poyet because it would appear he didn't have a case against the club. The exact details of his gross misconduct remain unknown and it seems as though neither he nor the club wanted this to come out (was the settlement merely a confidentiality agreement?)

I seem to remember the club being shocked at the LMA's support for Poyet.
