If not Sami then who would you want as manager who is available now to come straight in and start work ahead of a vital January transfer window??

There's plenty of other threads about this. Why don't you contribute to another thread instead of creating a new one?

I want someone who will install some passion into the players and the fans. To make it exciting again, much like Gus Poyet did. Tim Sherwood would be my choice, just as he was before Sami.

Clarke or McDermott. I've seen many people calling for Sherwood. Not sure what they see in him. He is an inexperienced manager with a poor track record in management, just as Hyypia was before joining us. How did that turn out?

Clarke or Rosler. Play in the style required, both are good coaches with a decent track record although both had a blip or would not be available, if we are going to stick with the current set up we need to find someone who can organise the team and improve what we have sooner rather than later...

I would ask Tony bloom and Oscar to sort out whatever went wrong between them. Failing that Steve Clarke

Am I the only who thinks Brian McDermott would be a bit of a dull replacement? Doen't exactly get the pulses racing for me.

For that you want Paolo Di Canio.

Experience at the highest level as player, prior management experience, including a promotion, and doesn't realize that WWII is over.
Because all you need is passion. And frank psychosis.
