Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Kazenga LuaLua could be sidelined for a few weeks after sustaining a knee injury against Fulham at the weekend. The Congolese winger limped out of the action following a collision midway through the first half at the Amex.
Albion manager Sami Hyypia explained, “Kazenga has damaged a ligament in his knee, so he will be out for a few weeks now.
“It’s not an ideal situation, but it happens in football and you can’t predict when these things will happen.
“He has the ability to hurt teams one-on-one, and maybe one-on-two as well. He has done well this season, so losing a player like him is not nice.”

Meanwhile, Gordon Greer also remains doubtful for Saturday’s trip to league leaders Derby after missing the Fulham match with a knee problem.Hyypia added, “We need to go with how he feels and see what happens. He hasn’t trained for a few days now, so it might be difficult for him to play at the weekend.
“It is a pity that we don’t have everyone fit to play, but we need to try and cope with the situation and that will give someone else the opportunity to shine on the pitch.”
Meanwhile Solly March came through his return to match action at the weekend without issue as he continues his recovery from a back injury.
