Accident at 10:30, alternative roads chaotic. Been stuck on Coombe Road for 15 mins.

Make that 30 mins.! Avoid CR southbound if you can. Lewes Road coming in to Brighton is Chocca.

The accident has been cleared but a fuel spillage is keeping the road closed for another hour or so.

Since the Vogue Gyratory improvement works, Coombe Road has taken much longer to get through, around 30mins in rush hour was the norm when Bear Road /Lewes Rd junction was closed.
