We're in a mess at the moment but we have had it far worse so time to think positive. I love that feeling you get just before kick off, regardless of previous results convinced it's gonna be your day. Love to see the youngsters in the side being given the chance, love Stockdale hugging every player before the start, love the journey home on the train regardless of the result talking to my boys about the game. Cementing their support for the club I and in turn they love through good times and bad. So looking forward to the next game! Gonna be our day!

Pre match drinking. Banter in WSU. And I have to say I enjoyed yesterday's football.

The great support despite a history of under achievement, the Charity Shield win in our history, Charlie Webb being appointed manager whilst still a prisoner of war, the Sussex regiment drilling on the Goldstone, the 1983 cup final, the county identity, the childhood memories, the mix of town and country support, the way the fans stood up for the club in the Archer years, surviving Gillingham then Withdean, getting bigger crowds than the bbc's "giants" of Leeds v Derby despite Brighton being in a second tier relegation scrap. But most of all, it is a part of generations of family, which means that no matter where I go or what I'm doing there is always still a thought about how the Albion are doing when it gets to a Saturday afternoon.

The pies are usually quite nice, Calderon's facial hair and our lovely stadium.

See its not ALL bad.

I am genuinely struggling to think of anything albion-related that I feel positive enough about to say I love.

I like the amex (and the wifi). I like that we're not rushing to change manager just because we're in a bad run (I only like that, not love it because it has the other side of it that we're still in that bad run). I like that there is a shared interest for my friends and I to socialise with (but there are others if we didn't have football).

Another vote for the Charity Shield victory for me. A massive result for an under pressure side and manager and we really pulled one out of the bag that day, defying the bookies odds. Great memories.

(It's all about that bass, about that bass, no treble, it's all about that bass, about that bass, no treble)

Top post. Exactly how I feel. Well done for giving that perspective

One thing I love at the moment is that we really are "the" club of the city/county. I wasn't around in the 70's and 80's, but growing up in the 90's I was always one of about 3-4 Albion fans in my year at school, and was always a bit jealous that you saw other clubs in other towns (not necessarily much bigger) where the whole town got behind them. Nowadays, you go past any park in Sussex and half the kids playing football are wearing Albion jerseys. Long may it continue.
