Under Gus and to an extent Garcia we were a VERY good side at holding onto a lead once we got it.

We now seem to have no clue whatsoever what to do tactically when leading a game, and slowly get worse and worse until the inevitable happens. We have good players but we seem terrified of being on the front foot.

Maybe we shouldn't try to score to avoid leading. If we could close out the rest of the season 0-0 there'd be a chance in staying up. All we need to hope is 3 teams are worse than us, Blackpool? Wigan? Maybe not.

Under Poyet and Oscar we managed the game when we took the lead. This season, we retreat as deep as possible and go into panic mode reflected by the fact that today was the 6th time we've thrown away a lead within 10 minutes of going in front. Another sign of a team nailed on for relegation.
