I think he will need a run of games and I hope we have him till the end of the season. His stats show when given a run of games at any level his strike rate is very good. This even includes his strike rate at Villa for the first 2 years where he managed 18 goals in 38 games. 4 England goals in 13 games as well.
Given enough time he will score goals at this level.
Last time he was playing at this level (granted 10 years ago now for Ipswich) he got 20 in 45 games.

Remember seeing play against us at Withdean around 2005, when Virgo scored for us and Shefki Kuqi scored for them...and we stayed up. Bent looked good that day, and he has done some good things since...Could be the tonic we need !
