The Brighton & Hove Albion Collectors’ Fair will be held this Sunday (November 30) in Dick’s Bar at the American Express Community Stadium.

Opening hours are from 11am to 2pm and there is free admission with refreshments available.

Tim Carder, chairman of the Albion’s historical society which is staging the fair, told seagulls.co.uk, “We used to hold these events each year at Withdean and they were very popular.

“We’ll be selling surplus items given to us to help our mission to preserve and promote the history of our great club.
*
“There should be something for everyone. We are very grateful to the Albion and Sodexo for the opportunity to stage what I hope will become an annual event again.”

Collectors will be able to buy a host of historical Albion items plus visit the club’s museum located behind Dick’s Bar.

Carder added, “There will be books, pictures, handbooks, fanzines and many other items on at least ten stalls.

“We’re privileged that Bob Bond, the well-known cartoonist, will also be on hand to draw caricatures of visitors.
*
“We’re also looking to increase awareness of our splendid museum and the funds raised by the day’s event will help us to look after it and augment it.”

A limited number of tours of the dressing rooms, press rooms and pitchside area will be available, with the club store also open.
