GSTQ as it is our National Anthem. To me Jerusalem is a song taught at school with no national significance.

No option for neither? Really don't like either of them. Much as I like it 'Land of Hope and Glory' is all chorus so not sure about that either. Maybe 'Hey Jude' ('Hey Queen'?) or 'Born Slippy'?

My reasons BG is that when I have seen the GSTQ playing at England international games, the enthusiasm that goes with it is lost on the faces of the players.
We need something more uplifting.

Who is the leader and figurehead of the nation.
The national anthem should be God Save The Queen.
Then, each individual nation of our country, when representing themselves in whatever way, should have their own, which they do for the most part.
It is time for England to identify itself and not be ashamed of everything that makes us great.

So we are told. I don't detect much leadership, merely hereditary entitlement - which, whenever it pops up elsewhere, is a very unattractive characteristic.

To my mind that is the only alternative for England if you keep GSTQ for anything concerning the UK or GB.

Yeah, he made them. You've never seen such a lacklustre rendition. They look like a bunch of embarrassed 14 year olds who hate singing, but are reluctantly joining in because their teacher is watching, and looking on sternly.
