Lewes have set their sights on the Amex after two Tom Davis crackers knocked Albion’s development squad out of the Sussex Senior Cup.
Davis struck right at the end of normal time and early in extra-time as Rooks won 2-1 in a second round tie at the Dripping Pan.
The management team of Garry Wilson and Danny Bloor would love to see their side go all the way to the final.
Bloor said: “Perhaps last season we under-estimated the competition a little.
“But Garry and I went to the final at the Amex and we would love to get there with Lewes this season.”
Cameron Wiltshire put Albion ahead on 58 minutes after good work by Shamir Fenelon.
Harry Doherty kept them in front with some goalkeeping before Davis scored from a free-kick in the final minute of added time.
He then hit the winner from 25 yards five minutes into extra-time.
Bloor added: “On the balance of play I thought we deserved it.”
Albion goalkeeper Christian Walton was an unused sub for England under-20s as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Canada in a friendly at Bournemouth last night.
Walton and Joe Wildsmith of Sheffield Wednesday both remained on the bench as Christy Pym of Exeter City played the full game.
England face France in Brest on Monday.
